One Paragraph Fiction: Week Five

Schools back in session which really sucks an enormous amount. I'm basically running the Lit Mag on my own this year, everyone who gave a shit is gone save for like one person. Should be interesting.

In other news I'm trying to write everyday (pulitzer here I come). Any who One Paragraph Fiction from reddit. Enjoy

The Last One

We had both had that last cigarette so many times. Some on cold evenings where no one could tell where the smoke ended and the air began. Some on hot summers days, where the ash went up and up into the sky and became one with the gray fog of the city. Pack after pack, promise after promise, year after year. An endless road walked with lungs that will no longer feel. So heres to the final one, for the final time, for you.
